The Aran Islands

 

A day trip to the Aran Islands is a must for anyone stsying in Doolin. Ferries run from Doolin pier to each of the Islands every day (weather permitting). Service normally starts in March until late October. For scheduls and ferry details see www.aran-island-ferry.com

 

 

Inis Oirr is our favourite island and is also the closest island to Doolin. It has a beautiful beach, nice walks and some lovely pubs.
